* The Distinguished Faculty Scholar Awards (3 total, one in each category: pre-tenure, post-tenure, non-tenure track faculty member). The awards recognize faculty members who have made signficant contriubutions to teaching, research and service, including service to women and advancing gender equity on campus.
* The Distinguished Service to Women Award for Staff and the Distinguished Service to Women Award for a Student are given in recognition of commitments and contributions in the advancement and support of gender equity, and service to women.
Beverly McPhail & Kevin Kulish WGRC Student Scholarship
This scholarship award will recognize one full-time, undergraduate student who demonstrates an interest in gender studies and a commitment to gender advocacy.
We are not currently accepting scholarship applications.
In Collaboration with Staff Council, the WGRC provides funding for five $1,000 scholarships for employees who plan to attend degree or job related academic credit classes durning the fall, spring or summer sermesters at the University of Houston.
