Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation My Home Library Program

This foundation has teamed up with the UH College of Education to launch My Home Library at Blackshear Elementary School, an initiative that seeks to send home books for all 526 Blackshear students for their summer reading. Anyone can sponsor a child's book wish for $30. There is no minimum or maximum amount. To participate, visit the My Home Library site and insert Blackshear in the search box.
