I am an ecologist fascinated by the complex relationships between plants, fungi, and herbivores, as well as how invasive species spread.

I am particularly interested in how plant chemical traits shape the relationships between plants and other organisms.

I use a combination of field observations, experiments in greenhouses, and lab work to understand the processes that drive these complex ecological patterns between plants, herbivores and mutualistic fungi.

Research Interests:

Chemical Ecology
Plant defenses
Invasion Biology
Plant - herbivore interactions
Mutualistic plant - fungal interactions
