Olga Wong

Master of Music in Organ Performance Candidate

Olga Wong currently serves as the Principal Organist at St. Martha Catholic Church (Kingwood) and is pursuing a Master of Music in organ performance at the University of Houston where she studies with Daryl Robinson. Prior to her studies at UH, Ms. Wong received a Master of Music in piano performance from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honors from Hong Kong Baptist University. Recent awards include scholarships to attend the 2017 French Organ Music Seminar in Paris and Rome and the 2018 American Guild of Organists National Convention in Kansas City. 

In 2016, Olga was awarded Third Place of the TMTA Young Artist Piano Solo Competition; served as judge at the TMTA All-Star Festival; performed as collaborative pianist in Italy at the 2016 InterHarmony International Music Festival; Guest Recital Series in Louisiana Tech University; SFASU 2016 Musical Production “Bloody bloody, Andrew Jackson”; Chapter Presenter at the MTNA 2016 National Conference in San Antonio on the topic “Performance Anxiety: From Practice room to the Stage”; and Competition Accompanist for the 2015 Schmidbauer Competition.
