Career Highlights
Author of more than 30 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters and conference proceedings in hospitality, tourism and information systems areas; consultant and research associate for ACCOR HOTELS since 2014; recipient of the Best Paper Award from the Asia Pacific Management Conference in 2016 and the Best Paper Award (1st place) from the Korea America Hospitality & Tourism Educators Conference in 2017; recipient of Minister’s Grand Prize from the Ministry of Information and Communication, South Korea in 2004; currently teaches Hospitality Technology and IT & Social Media in HTM at the undergraduate level, and Business Analytics at the graduate level; taught at University of Massachusetts Amherst and Korea Aerospace University before joining Hilton College in fall 2017; currently serves as the dissertation chair for Ph.D. students, is a member of the Research Workshop Program Committee of the Korean Chapter of the Association for Information Systems, and is a reviewer for a number of academic journals, including the International Journal of Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Education, Information & Management, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Asia Pacific Journal of Information Systems, and Information Systems Frontiers.
