HHP Scholarship Winners for 2019

The Department of Health and Human Performance has declared the winners of the Mary Louise White scholarship, Barry Pelton scholarship, Margie Sterr scholarship and the HHP scholarship for 2019.

Mary Louise White Scholarship

The Mary Louise White Scholarship is awarded to full-time students pursing an undergraduate degree in the Health and Human Performance department. It is funded by donations from the Mary Louise White Foundation to facilitate the education of deserving students who would like to pursue their higher education degree in Health and Human Performance.

Barry Pelton Scholarship

The Barry C. Pelton Endowment Scholarship is given to outstanding students in the Health and Human Performance department who are in financial need and have expressed a commitment to the physical education profession.

Margie Sterr Scholarship

The Margie Sterr Scholarship is available to any HHP undergraduate student with demonstrated interest and aptitude in the area of Motor Behavior. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage high quality student participation in the exercise science program in preparation for either graduate school and/or a career in exercise science.
