Keep in mind that the best paying jobs are the ones requiring the most quantitative skills, so math and statistics courses will be more important for those types of jobs. Consider this when deciding between a BA and BS and when choosing a minor. Also, with the increasing use of computers and data collection, data management and analysis will continually be of relative greater demand and having good quantitative skills will make you more competitive for these jobs. It is important that you talk to professionals, professors, read the news and search about different careers, industries and professions so that you make the right choice for yourself.
