Dear World is a photo-narrative project that facilitates interpersonal dialogue and explores stories of hope; stories of struggle; and stories of a brighter day. Dear World is a great opportunity for our campus community to come together by celebrating and welcoming conversations around diversity, vulnerability, and acceptance. Each member of our community has a unique experience, identity, and story; this is an opportunity to share that with the UH community.
The UH community is invited to the President’s Fall Address. President Renu Khator will highlight our collective accomplishments and outline future goals along with major initiatives to be implemented this year, along with performances by the international award winning Concert Chorale from the Moores School of Music. While the Address will be streamed live, there is no substitute to being together in one room to celebrate our accomplishments.
This nationally recognized program is designed to educate persons to recognize and respond to the signs of suicidal thinking and behaviors. Individuals will learn how to ask the suicide question, how to persuade the person to contact appropriate assistance, and how to identify referral options.
Students, staff and faculty will be able to shop for locally sourced and produced food items without having to leave campus at the UH Farmers Market. Cougar Cash is accepted.
